The house could not hold all who wished to gain admission. It was the largest funeral ever held in Basalt. The speakers included Pres. Jos. H.'Dye, Wilford Christensen, Elders H. S. McBride, Quinn and Bp. W. E. Dyre. All spoke in the very highest terms of the life of Georg McBride. ' They paid tribute to his faithfulness to his family and the church of which he was a member.
