work here for the past few weeks they returning home borne temporarily on the there are a great number of latter day saints scattered throughout montana as ae far as the elders have visited frequently when least expected we would come across members who enquire for us and appear to still retain a portion of their love for the goabel we have found at leat least two ladles ladies who worried married catholics and who are satisfied with their choice and yet show the greatest ut of interest and aad assert their belief in the doctrines they once entertained they treat the el bl ders dere with the volumes in the circulating and ana reference depart ments 8 daily and 39 weekly news papers besides 36 86 monthly and other periodicals I 1 confess I 1 felt something lacking when I 1 could not see the NEWS on file one hundred persons persona patronize the library daily and readers peruse the papers fully seven per cent of the readers are working men or laborers and the ledy lady in charge informs me this institution is a great boon to the town and Is well patronized yesterday I 1 presented emr mr durrant Durra ot that mormon ja toy by ben ban E koh blob asking a place for it in the me circulation circulating department which was waa graciously accepted but when I 1 went today I 1 was waa respectfully informed that mrs hearst and a board of made all selections and those in charge
