glenwood bounty count utah and died february 26 20 1897 re he was the son of edwin RW B wardle ardle and betsy thompson Ward leand grandson ot of george and fanny bushton wardle CAROLINE MARY MABY ANN millard co april 19 1897 died at the home of her son alexander rosy heay mary ann moralee the beloved wife ot of george resy keay deceased departed this life on the oi of april 1897 of general debility aged 88 years 4 months and 19 days she was born in newcastle upon tyne northumberland england on november 21 1808 and was waa baptized into the church of jesus christ of latter day saints on july 15 1862 1852 by brother william bell and emigrated to utah on board of the william TA 9 scott on the day of may 1862 nd crossed the plains in captain henry millers company she was the mother of nine children six sons and three daughters two soni and one daughter died la in gateshead on tyne england she died as an she had bad lived a faithful latter day saint in the h hope OP 0 of a glori 0 and brother george mcneill Mo Neill deceased who was waa a bright intelligent boy apparently just on the verge of a life of usefulness was born at american pork fork october 20 25 1882 and died here A april ril 27 1897 for or some years yeara he has not been phyan ally ably strong but bat not until within a few days of his death was anything of a really serious nature apprehended at that that time medical aid was summoned and he was said to be suffering ering from a severe attack of heart trouble it seems quite reasonable that such wax was the ae as he survived but a few days being of a pleasant disposition he was beloved by all who know knew him he was a member of the sixth grade of the pub lie lic schools of this place and was highly respected by his hi follow fellow students funeral services were eneid in the lat ter day saints meeting house on thursday april 29 at 2 p in the corpse was borne from the resi residence denoe to the meeting house by students members of the two higher departments marching the speakers were elders thomas barratt J B forbes ell eli J clay clayson eon geo cunningham Cunning bam and bishop robinson brother mcneill and family have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement acom COM SAMUEL there departed this life on april 5 1897 at pauses panaca nevada one of gods noblest sons samuel keele son eon of richard J and beanor eleanor keels keele was born in bedford county tenn jan his parents were farmers and he learned to tiu till the soil BOIL he heard the gospel and joined the church at the age of nineteen moved to nauvoo and became a zealous worker in zion he was intimately associated with the fruchet joseph being one ot of his body guard he was wag enlisted in the nauvoo legion assisted in building the temple giving everything that he had then adding to this his labor it may be said here that his possessions were always at the die disposal of the church authorities brother keele moved to mt pisgah and was married to annie elizabeth elixabeth hess hens in 1849 and by hiring out as teamster he was enabled to make the journey across the plains and reached reache utah dUtah in 1857 settled on kays creek where he remained two years moved to farmington in 1859 built a home there and remained but three years year when ewhen he moved to mantl mand built another home to enjoy which he remained out but two years then moved to fairview where he remained until after the black hawk war he was a great peace maker among the indians indiana and a father to the needy brother keele went as an a volunteer to assist in the settlement ot of the muddy valley and got as an far as st george when he was advised to come to panaca nov which place has been his home up to his death great blessings were pronounced upon his head and his testimony was that joseph smith was a true prophet he died with a full assurance that his offering was accepted A few hours before his death he awoke from his bis sleep with a heavenly smile upon his face and related his vision or dream he saw joseph and hyrum and others and they informed him that his election was sure several times after this he was wan heard the subject of this sketch ketch died of old age and general debility at the grant hotel american fork city april 27 1897 after is a brief illness and little suffering he was buried the following sunday bunday about noon his remains were borne from the hotel by the members of the high priests quorum to the meeting house where a large assembly had convened to pay their last respects to him and to hear his funeral sermon preached the speakers were elders israel bale of nephi job pingree of ogden adolph madsen of the salt lake temple wm win patman paiman president of juab stake wm B R webb thomas barrett and bishop wm D robinson all of whom spoke eulogistically of the deceased and his many generous and admirable qualities john P kelly was wa born september 1 14 4 1814 in the town of shire england he embraced the gospel in his native land in 1850 1859 and emigrated to utah in 1862 on his arrival with his company he oame come direct to american fork and ana resided there continuously continuous lv tul I 1 the time of his death he was waa the husband of two wives the first of whom bore him eight children and the second five ii be a leaves sixty four grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren brother kelley was waa an earnest and so ao tive worker in the church of jesus jeans christ of latter day saints from the time i of his hia baptism up to the day of his death and was always charitable and liberal with his means to lurther further on the work he was a ward teacher for many years year which position he filled honorably and creditably until he became too old and feeble lor for the labors and of the office and was eventually honorably released by the bishopric of the ward brother kelleys kellems Kel leys memory will be hold held in kind remembrance by many who wom were the grateful subjects of his timely benefaction he was one who gave his alms alas in secret believing that god would reward him openly he implicitly believed in a giving that impoverish eth not his he was always giving and always had something to give he was a strict observer of the law of tithing and paid his offerings offering cheerfully and without stint he was also a careful obi observer erver of the word of wisdom and enjoyed its benefits benefit in the immunity he had from preva prevailing thug diseases and distressing bodily ailment be it known also to the credit of tote this good brother that he furnished a home for the elders in his native land and many a weary and footsore missionary there was made glad with the good cheer and welcome of john P kelley and his estimable and kind wife elixa BUM long kelley on march 6 1891 the latter irater died and brother kelley goes to join her in 11 the great beyond where he can rest confident of the joys
