| Show SNOWFLAKE conference WOODRUFF navajo county arizona dec 69 1896 at 2 p in on sun baa ny day nov NOT 29 1896 the quarterly conference of the snowflake stake of zion convened in the meeting house bouie at Taylor Navajo CoArl zona the preal jency or the stake were all present prea ent also alio most of the high council bishops of words warde and other leading men the meeting house was crowded to its ito utmost capacity by anxious listeners and all seemed to be enjoying the good spirit there were three meetings of the conference one on sunday afternoon and two on monday the besides a priesthood meeting on sunday night there was a very good feeling among the salute saint and all felt to rejoice in each others society Booi ety secret and the tion of faith and exemplary orn conduct duct the payment of tithes and offerings the proper observance of the sabbath and the careful instruction of the youth were all urged upon the saints ina kind yet powerful manner the saints were also instructed to observe the change lately arranged arra aeed by the first presidency concerning concern ing the last fast day as well as an to allow the su u day schools to bold their regular ses sea blons uninterrupted the general and stake authorities were sustained by the unanimous vote of the conference reports of the bishops showed that the people ot of the entire stake were in a fair condition both spiritually and temporally L M clerk of conference |
