Gentile, Layton, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1987 at the McKay-De- e Hospital in Ogden of pneumonia. He was born July 10, 1905 in Bountiful, a son of David and Eliza Dittmore Call Sr. He married Ethel Thurgood Oct. 27, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 2, 1979. He had been a farmer and cattleman. He enjoyed farming and was very successful in this occupation. He had lived in Bountiful for 26 years and the remainder of his life in West Layton. He attended Davis High School. He was an active High Priest in the Layton 2nd LDS Ward, where he held numerous positions. He was president of the Davis County Beet Growers Association and vice president of the Utah State Beet Growers Association. He was former president and direc- tor of the West Layton Irrigation Company. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Robert T. Call, Milton Dean Call, Mrs. Donald F. (LaRue) DeWitt, Mrs. Dennis H. MILTON H. CALL (Vemetta) Wilson, all of Layton; 16 grandchildren and 51 greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Lyman Call, Bountiful; Octavia C. Neville, Layton; Rachel C. Burton, Fielding. Interment was in the Syracuse City Cemetery. Local funeral directors, Lindquists Layton Mortuary. I. Cordova dies at 54 Isabel Lujan Cordova, 54, of 700 N. Ann Street, Clearfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1987 in St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden of heart failure. She was bom1 Dec. 31, 1933 in Velarde, New Mexico, a daughter of Damian and Senaida Vigil Lujan. She married Nick Cordova in 1955, in Velarde, New Mexico. She was reared and educated in New Mexico where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Weber State College in 1974 with a B.A. degree in education. She had taught school for the Ogden School District for 15 years. She was a member of the Utah Education Association. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where she sang in the Spanish choir. Surviving are her husband of Clearfield, two daughters, Ms. Yvonne Cordova, Clearfield; Mrs. Gil (Patsy) Alvarez and two grandchildren, Amanda and Andrew Alvarez, all of Ogden. Also surviving are her mother of Velarde, New Mexico; one brother . Also surviving are one brother Alecia Whiting, 10, of 1551 E. Nicholls Road, Fruit Heights, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1987 in Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of accidental asphyxiation. She was bom Jan. 24, 1977 in Murray, a daughter of Larry L. and Kaye Wadsworth Whiting. She had lived in Sandy, Huntsville and the past three years in Fruit Heights. She had attended Canyonview Elementary in Ogden and Valley Elementary in Huntsville. At the time of her death she was a fourth grade student at Morgan Elementary in Kaysville. She was a member of the Fruit Heights 6th Ward where she was a member of the Valiant B Primary class. Surviving are her parents of Fruit Heights; three brothers and four sisters, Jameson Marlow Whiting, Jonathon Pace Whiting, Dan L. Whiting, Cherice Whiting, Michelle Whiting, Asenith Whiting, all of Fruit Heights; Mrs. Tuck (Karey Vaun) Hoffman, Logan. Also surviving are her grandparents, Lamar and Uarda Whiting, Vaughn and Nina Wadsworth, all of Idaho Falls, Ida.; great- us for Carpet and Call Arbuckle; letter to Alecia, Jameson M. Whiting; musical selection by friends from Huntsville, Linda, Kristin and Andrea Libby; speaker, Marlin K. Jensen, regional representative; tribute from dad, read by Rex L. Coles, uncle; "Angel Lullaby" by Marilyn Jacobsen, family friend; benediction, Kenneth Wadsworth, uncle. Dedication of the grave was by Vaughn A. A, Sunset, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1987 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City ISABEL LUJAN CORDOVA and five sisters, Joe D. Lujan, Ogden; Bemie L. Sanchez, Clara L. Montaya, Romana Salazar, all of Velarde, New Mexico; Lupe L. Martinez, Elko, Nev.; Carmen Martsch, Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister. Interment was in the Clearfield City Cemetery. Local funeral directors, Lind- quists Clearfield Mortuary. Grace Day rites held Grace Saxton Day, 76, of 1204 W. 450 N., Clearfield, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1987 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of heart failure. She was born Feb. 10, 1911 in Smithfield, a daughter of Aaron and Ida Gamble Saxton. She married Ralph Leland Day. He died in 1963. She retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1963. She was reared and educated in Smithfield and Preston, Ida. She had lived in the Clearfield and Layton area for the past 45 years. She was an avid golfer and bowler. She enjoyed flowers and playing bridge. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Ted S. Day and David S. Day, both of Roy; Jack R. Day, Ogden; Mrs. Russell (Lyn) Miller, Layton; Mrs. Burt (Beth) Kikuchi, Clearfield; 22 grandchildren and 24 DUTCH DOT CARFET CLEANERS 32, Complete Stock of injuries suffered from an Bolts, Designer Including Full Lengths, Rolls and assailant. She enjoyed being a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of Syracuse; two sons and one daughter, Danny L. Clough, Kenny R. Clough, Emmi D. Clough, all of Sunset. Also surviving are her father, Tucson, Ariz.; her mother, Sunset; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amber Cripps, Hurricane; one brother and four sisters, Randy L. Watson, Sunset; Dale Jeani Baxter, Spangdahlem AFB, West Germany; Carla R. Bridges, Am- ber L. Christiansen, both of Sunset; Vicki L. Christiansen, GRACE SAXTON DAY and three sisters.
