Bom Nov. 12, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mary Bytheway Wilson Griffith. Married Mary Alta Warby Aug. 17, 1946 in Salt Lake City. Served in the Air Force, nine and years. Veteran WW1I and Korean conflict. Retired from Hill Air Force Base. Was a security officer and loved fishing. Survived by his wife, Mary, Layton; children, Jack A. Wilson, Syracuse; Charles M. Wilson, Clearfield, Mary A. Mizell, Garden City; Rebecca E. Bumbrect and Robert L. Wilson, both Layton; Patricia J. Larson, Logan; 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 7, 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends called Monday evening 8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to service. 6-- Interment Bountiful City cemetery. Warren Smith Wimmer Jr., 39, 138 N. 100 W., Clearfield, died July 2, 1987 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of heart 1 failure. He was born Nov. 21, 1947 in Tooele, to Warren Smith and Pama Billings Wimmer. He married Karen Knudsen, Sept. 19, 1969 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He graduated in 1966 from Davis High School, where he was active in debate. He graduated from Weber State College in 1972 with his bachelors degree. He received his masters in education from Utah State University in 1980. He had just completed his Administra- tive Supervisory Professional certificate in June of 1987 from USU. He was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He had taught school at Centerville Junior High from 1982-8This past year he taught social studies at Layton High School. He was active in the Davis County Democratic party and had served as chairman. He had served in the Utah State Legislature from 1977-8He was a member of the DEA and NEA. He served an LDS mission to He served England from 1967-6as a Seventy for the LDS Church for many years and was senior Seventies president in his stake. He was an avid reader and enjoyed baking bread, golfing and 6. 1. 8. sailing. Surviving are his widow of Tempe. Bom Sept. 10, 1903 in Kaysville, to John Hooper and Drucilla Grace Layton Blood. Married Cromwell Bird May 15, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death March 18, 1980. Her early years were spent in Kaysville. She moved to Pocatello in 1922 and resided there for 60 years. She was employed at the Union Pacific Railroad and the Idaho Bank and Trust. Hazel Pulley Wimmer, American Fork; two brothers and three sisters, Steven Wimmer, Clearfield; Michael Wimmer, American Fork; Karma Belew, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Mike (Charlene) Bingham, Tooele; and Mrs. Kelly (Janalyn) Memmott, Pleasant Grove. Bird succumbs Millie Layton Blood Bird, 83, passed away July 2, 1987 in Phoenix, Ariz. She was residing with her daughter, Margaret in Annie Elizabeth Halls, 88, of 628 Hill Villa Drive, Layton, died Friday, July 3, 1987 at the St. Benedicts Hospital in Ogden of causes incident to age. She was born Nov. 21, 1898 in Liberty, to Cyrus Alfred and Mary Ann Burt Penrod. She married Clyde Halls Nov. 29, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Leb. 23, 1974. She had worked at Hill Air Force Base and at the Deseret Industries. She was reared and educated in Liberty and Eden. She had lived in Leona Oleta Valentine Cunningham, 71, of 1228 Valhalla Drive, Clearfield, died Tuesday, June 30, 1987 in an Ogden nursing home of complications following a stroke. She was born March 21, 1916 in Soso, Miss., a daughter of E. Chester and Bertha Mae Story Valentine. She married David C. Cunningham March 14, 1936 in Wellsburg, West Virginia. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June , 1942. He died July 13, 1981. She had been employed at Hill Air Force Base retiring in 1955. She was reared in Ohio and had lived in the Ogden and Clearfield area since 1942. She graduated from East High School in Akron, Ohio. She was a member of the Clearfield 11th LDS Ward. She and her husband served a mission to the Southern States as genealogy research specialists. She and her husband had also taught genealogy research seminars. She had also served in various auxiliaries of the church. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Jan C. Cunningham, Clearfield; Judith A. Halls dies at 88 Carl Donald Holder, 81 of 682 N. Colonial, Layton, died Sunday, June 28, 1987 at St. Benedict's Hospital of causes incident to age. He was born Sept. 30, 1905 in Black Oak, Missouri, a son of Sam and Finley Holder. He married Irene Kell in Mount Vernon, Washington. They had been married 54 years when she died on March 9, 1981. He married Lida Twibey in February 1983 in Layton. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He had served as a deacon, had taught Sunday School and had served as the Sunday School superintendent. He was a member of the Gideon Association. was a member of Teamsters Local 849, where he had served as a steward. He had lived in Gridley, Calif.; Washington state, and Butte, Mont.
