The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had lived in Cannonville, Panguitch and Delta before moving to Kaysville in 1935. He was a member of the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward. He had been a farmer. He was an avid gardener. He enjoyed the outdoors and also hunting and fishing.
