Larkin Lane, Kaysville, died Thursday, April 2, 1987 in an American Fork hospital of heart failure. He was bom Jan. 29, 1979, in Los Gatos, Santa Clara, Calif., a son of Cory L. Thompson and Francis Francom. He lived in California for nine months, in Kaysville three years. He had resided in American Fork for the past four years. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are his parents, Cory L. Thompson, Kaysville; Francis Lundahl, St. George; two half sisters, Heather and Alexis Thompson, Kaysville. Also surviving are his grandp- 1 of Ellsworth succumbs Ernest 58, Ernie Jack Ellsworth, of 646 James, Clearfield, died Saturday, March 28, 1987 at St. Benedicts Hospital of complications due to pneumonia. He was born May 27, 1928 in Fort Duchesne, Utah, a son of John and Betty Vargas Ellsworth. He married Sharon Child May 21, 1954 in Ogden. The marriage wus later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He retired from Hill Air Force Base as a mechanic. He had lived in Vernal for 15 years, Ogden, Roy for seven years and in Clearfield for 20 years. He attended schools in Vernal. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. Surviving are his widow of Clearfield; one son and one daughter, Carlow Ellsworth, Ogden; Mrs. Kerry (Bonnie) Fuit, Clearfield; three grandchildren. Also surviving are his parents, LaVerkin, Utah; four brothers, Clyde Ellsworth, Washington Terrace; Edger Ellsworth and Jerry Ellsworth, both of Sunset; Harold Bud Ellsworth, Willard. Services were held April 7 at Lindquists Clearfield Mortuary with Bishops counselor Terry Wayment officiating. He was bom March 4, 1911, in Miami, Florida, a son of John Oden and Alma Warren Wheat. He married Florence Colett in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. He married Hazel M. Christensen July 30, 1952, in I Brigham City. schools, and attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles, Calif. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and had worked for the DDO. Don Evan Westenskow, 61, of Owen Ave., Layton, died Friday, April 3, 1987 at Humana Hospital Davis North of heart failure. He was bom April 16, 1925 in Gunnishon, Utah, a son of J.F. and Lillie Chapman Westenskow. He married Lois Mae Willden Oct. 1, 1948, in Mayfield, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in i : ; fliM! lcf:ViiJT7AV I 414 MS DDMS Gunnison. He attended Gunnison High School. He lived in Kearns for nine years and Layton the past 23 years. He was a sheet metal foreman at Hill Air Force Base, retiring after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Layton 11th LDS Ward, where he had served in the presidency of the High Priest Quorum and the YMMIA. He was also active in scouting. He enjoyed camping and woodworking. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific. Surviving are his widow of Layton, three sons and three daughters, David E. Westenskow, Carl J. Westenskow, both of Evanston, Wyo.; Alan D. Westenskow, Mrs. Bradley (Kathryn) Brown, Alisa Mae Westenskow, all of Layton; Denise Marie Westenskow, Salt Lake City; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Clair K. Westenskow, Sandy; Dale Sorensen, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Farrell (Gwe-na- ) Olson, Richfield. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Services were held April 7 at the Layton Utah Stake Center with Bishop Richard M. Allen of the Layton 1 1th LDS Ward officiating. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquists Layton mortuary.
