But first, congratulations to both the boys and girls basketball teams, who defeated the girls and boys team from Box Elder two weeks ago. Both teams are off to a great start and Im sure they are going to make everyone at LHS proud. Now for the weeks events. Friday, Weber comes to LHS for boys basketball, and our girls are going to Weber. Good luck! Saturday is the fourth annual Super Bowl stomp. This year, the stomp is sponsored by the Chem SBOs have been working for months to make this a great celebration, so everyone come out and learn more about your schools history. Barlow, veteran legislator from Davis County in the Utah State Legislature, will brief members of Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma on the issues facing the state legislative body in the current session. Senator Barlow is chairman of the Appropriations Committee for Public Education dealing with some of the most controversial issues in the states history. He is also a member of committees on Judiciary, State and Local Affairs, and Legislative Management. We feel greatly honored that Senator Barlow consented to take time from his busy schedule to meet with us," stated Artell Rigtrup, president of Fpsilon Chapter.
