I Christmas Ev$ Dinner Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jackson, of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Spencer of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Raul Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Briggs and all their families were guests on Christmas eve for a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Spencer. Newlyweds Trip Elinore and Ernest Partridge left early Saturday morning by plane for Montclair, New Jersey, where they will visit Ernests parents, I)r. and Mrs. E. De Alton Partridge. They will return in time to start school for the winter quarter at the U. Return Home Mrs. John Barton has returned to her home in San Diego. She has been visiting for 2 weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hamblin. Sunday Speaker Sunday, Dec. 20, Max Elliott will be the speaker for the Farmington Second Ward Sacrament Service. Mr. Elliott has just returned from the South W. Indian Mission and will make his report at that time. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elliott. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Roland of Ogden were also guests of the Baums. The Ralph Steed Saturday, Mr. Ruel Steed of Bountiful, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Steed. Ruel, a former resident of Farmington, had just that morning been released from the hospital. Ruel had undergone surgery a while before. Christmas Eve for the Ralph Steeds was spent in Bountiful at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Moon for a family Christmas party. Mrs. A. L. Clark Mrs. A. L. Clark is doing as well as can be expected. She fell Wednesday at her home and broke her hip. She underwent surgery on Thursday to set the hip. Layton Fiisi Service Layton A Sacred Christmas service sponsored by the Layton First Ward was held Christmas Eve in the First Ward Chapel, with the following program being presented: Vocal solo by Wayne Winegar, The Holy City ; Organ melodies by Shirley Stewart; a trumpet solo Melody of Christmas Carols, Wilma Sorenson; and a Story, The Traveler by Cleone Whitman.
