(33 From the council, the main committees concerned with the dance are the Decorating, Night Dance and Queen Contest committees. For several weeks these committees have been making plans for the dance and now the actual preparations are being made. The committees consist of: Decorating, Hazel Harvey, Reed Hodgson, Margaret Whitesides, Julie Simmons, and the Ninth grade Art Dance, Classes; Night Lynne Barbara Frost, Diane Housley, Brent Swan, Young, Carolyn Horne, Becky Ence and Mary Jo Thorson. The special committee for the ticket sales and Queen contest consists of Julie Simmons, Pam Parrish and Susan Scoffield. Along with the sales of tickets a Queen Contest is being conducted. The candidates for the queen and two attendants are elected representatives of each homeroom at Central. The voting of the contest is one hundred votes per ticket and the highest total in each grade will constitute the queen, the first attendant, and second attendant.
