Ford Stationed With Army In Germany , Central Davis Junior High Picks Citizens Of Month By Susan Scoffield Fort Knox, Ky. (AIITNC)-P- vt. Duane R. Ford, son of Mr. and Mrs. T T R. G. Fold, Farmington, departed from the U. S. early in March for Operation Germany as part the Armys unit roGyroscope, tation plan. Ford is a member of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, formerly located at Fort Knox, Ky., which is replacing the (1th Armored Cavalry Regiment in southern Germany. Ford, a tank driver in the regiments Company I, entered the Army in August, 1950, and received XS'L & of MISIIAI Sgt. Ray Evans estimated $300 damage to three vehicles involved in this accident. The car, driven by Dorothy L. Layton Last month at Central the students again succeeded in turning many nominations to the citizens of the month committee. From these two were chosen for the citizens of the month for February. The girl, Barbara Kleinstueber, is a ninth grader at Central. She was chosen for her honesty in returning a valuable wrist watch to the office. She was nominated by Mrs. Genevieve Leonard, one of Centrals Home Economic teachers. Barbara is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Kleinsteuber of Layton. The boy, Bob Burton, is a seventh grader. lie was selected for the award because of his good citizenship in returning an expensive David Rose and Arch camera. Wilcox were the sutdents who turned in the nomination. Bob is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Burton of Kaysville. Both these students are making Central a better school by showing their excellent citizenship.
