Los Angeles Visitor Mrs. Helen liathbone of Los Angeles, is a guest of her cousin, Mrs. Dudley Pierson in the Farmers Union apartments. Mr. Pierson passed away a few weeks ago with a heart ailment. Travel Trophy A Travel Trophy Dinner Dance for the J.C.s will be held Saturday (November It) at American Fork. At the party a trophy will be given to the Jaycees who have traveled farthest and have the most in attendance. Halloween Party A Halloween party for the Jay-ce- e members was held at the home of Glen Simmons. Ronald Wiberg and Glen Simmons were in charge. There were thirty couples present. Whitesides school Wednesday a Halloween costume parade was held. This was followed by parties in all the classrooms. Games and refreshments were sponsored by the room mothers. Guest Speaker Richard Stevenson, principal of Central Davis Jr. High school, was guest speaker Sunday, October 28, at the Layton First Ward Sunday School Parent and Child class. Mrs. Cleone Whitman is their teacher. Sunday Guests Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jacobson and family were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Jacobsons parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jacobsen in Salt Lake City. The occasion was a family gathering in honor of the elder Jacobsens birthday. Skating Party First Ward M. I. A. party Friday held a roller skating evening at the Normande Roller Rink in Salt Lake City. After skating the group assembled at the First Ward recreation hall for chili, hot chocolate, donuts and ice cream. There were lb present. Mrs. Ann Denny and Miss Wilma Woffinden were in charge. Carol Adams Miss Carol Adams is conversing at her home from the flu. Attend Symphony Mrs. J. B. Cooley, Mrs. Harold Ellison and Mrs. Leonard Layton attended the Salt Lake Symphony Wednesday.
