Layton Honored On 88th Birthday Mrs. Ruth E. Layton Layton was the guest of honor at a special Relief Society party Tuesday on the occasion of her ssth birthday anniversary. Later, she spent her time at home visiting with members of her family and close friends who called to wish her many happy returns of the day. Mrs. Layton was born May 22 in Eden, a daughter of William and Sarah Talbot Bodily. On November 24, 1SSS, she married Orson Layton in the J.,ogan LDS Temple and they came to Lay-tomoving into the home where Mrs. Layton still resides. Mr. Lay-to- n died in 11)29.
