Show December 17, 1955 ' Till: JOURNAL os ai lagd yeor round r&ibB6!uidl In its sincere effort to be a good neighbor, Utah Copper Divi- sion of Kennecott Copper Corporation recognizes and accepts its civic and social x'esponsibilities. A corporation, like a good citizen, is involved in many activities, not the least of which is participation in worthy community projects local, state and national. Kennecott supports, for example, a wide variety of such projects, including Community Chests, United Funds, health funds, building funds, and recreational and welfare causes. In addition, through direct grants and scholarship programs, Kennecott helps to further the educational programs of colleges and universities. Indeed, it is fair to say that on every day of the year someone benefits from Kennecotts voluntary contributions. Neighborliness by a mining company is like the neighborliness of the family next door its a year round attitude, a year round way of living. ! & iuj Copper Corporation '"I' V (iA Good Neighbor Helping to Build a Better Utah 3 |
