Under the guiding hand of Mel Manning, summer recreation director, the hoys in our neighborhood leceived not only good instruction in spoits but brought home a wonderful spirit of good sportsmanship -- Re-ele- learned two things from this show. I learned that through the fun and pai ticipation of producing this kind of a community project we all had a feeling of unity, and secondly, that the funds we earned would go to bettering the summer activity progiam for our children. DRAPER Candidate for Supreme Court Delbert M. Draper was born in Moroni, Utah, a son of Riley Newton Draper and Margaretta (Motley) Draper. He was educated in the public schools of Utah, the University of Utah and the University of California. He married Frances Mary Roberts and raised a family of two sons and four daughters. He is a member of the L. D. S. church. Mr. Draper is a candidate for Justice of the Supreme Court of the state of Utah. The life of I)ellert M. Draper has thus far been a fitting prelude to a distinguished and honorable career as a Justice in our highest state court. Mr. Draper was a livestock man and farmer, a teacher, a law lecturer at the University of Utah, Chief Deputy Treasurer and Assistant Attorney General of the State of Utah, State and Regional Director of the Office of Price Stabilization and is eminently successful in the private practice of the law. Members of the Bar respectfully regard him as a man of sound discretion and of unquestioned judicial temperament. His business associates admire his ability to make timely decisions founded upon fairness and good reason. His neighbors and friends have come to know him as an honest man with the highest ethical principles. For instance, those who keep insisting over and over again that their neighbors shouldnt have a glass of temperate beer with their supper now and then.
