Young Alan Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stirling Clark of First North St. has been hospitalized for several days after a crash with his bicycle into a car driven by Lincoln Gardner. The lad was riding his bike on 3(H) East st. and shot out into East Center st. directly into the path of the Gardner vehicle which was traveling at 20 miles per hour according to the police. He was unavoidably hit and received a broken upper and lower jaw as well as many cuts and bruises. He was to have celebrated his birthday on the following day when he would have been six years old.
