Warren received an award of $1,130 from the Inter national Business Machines Corp. for suggesting the application of the process to speed a phase of typewriter production. As a result of his suggestion, the time required tT put 'the front paper scale and paper guide markings on the IBM electric typewriter was reduced. More than three hours in production time was saved on every 100 machines by Warrens method. Employed as an assembler at the companys Poughkeepsie, N. Add cornstarch and water mixture; stir until thickened. Add tbsp. sugar and juice of V lemon, chill before serving. Party Ice Cream To dress up ice cream for a party, pack bought or homemade ice cream in a deep refrigerator tray. Press mixture firmly in an even layer against sides and bottom of a pie plate.. Chill. Filling For the filling, dissolve one package gelatin in 2 e. hot water; chill. When mixture becomes slightly thickened, pour layer in bottom of the ginger snap crumb crust. Arrange one pair cut in 8 sections in a circle on top, then cover with remaining gelatin mixture. Chil until firm. Decorate with shred ded coconut. KAYSVILLE Word was received here Monday of the death of Evelyn Nance Egbert Garcia, formerly of Kaysviile, who died of a sudden illness in Los Angeles. Mrs. Garcia lived in Kaysviile the Paid Political Adv. by D. S. King early part of her life. She was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Merritt Nance.
