Semaphore To Be Installed At Hill Base Road 3 THE JOURNAL SALLY'S SALLIES VOLGA BOATMAN U $ thm Munsmu Oic X' LAYTON Announcement by the State Road Commission that a traffic actuated semaphore would be installed at the Hill Air Base road and U.S. Highway 91 was met with enthusiasm by residents of Layton, particularly those of Hill Villa. For some time, some traffic from Hill Base had been using the Hill Villa road as a to the highway, thus creating a hazard for children playing in the Villa. A group of citizens from the villa in meeting with the Town Board urged that action be taken to lessen the traffic through the road.
