Phillips was honored at a family dinner paity last week in a dual role, on the observance of his 70th birthday and his retirement after many long years of service with the Utah Power & Light company in Layton. The party was held in the original Phillips home now occupied by his sister, Mrs. Noble Sandall. His only son, Wendell Phillips, Los Angeles, was ppresent for the occasion as were all of his nine broth-- 1 ers and sisters: Mrs. Leo Roueche. Long Beach, Calif.; Douglas Phillips.
