Kathleen is on the road to becoming a normal baby because of a complete blood placement transfusion in which her deadly Rh blood was replaced with normal blood from the hospitals od bank. A similar operation saved the life of another of Mrs. Ruberry's children. Previously, she had birth to four babies, all with the Rh factor, and all had died shortly after birth.
