Subscription price $1.23 a year LAYTON NEWS v i The A Layton Third ward presented a Easter cantata at the ward chapel Sunday evening under the direction of choir leader Mrs. Pearl Naler, accompanied by Miss Thora Nalder. Lynn W. Burton was the reader and during the presentation of the cantata films were shown by Mrs. llortense Richardson. Musical parts were taken by Mrs. Ellen, Reed Whitesides, Lindeman. A duet was sang by David White-side- s and Doval Egan. Mrs. Bessie Stevens sang a solo and a quartet composed of Mrs. Elaine Smith, Mrs. Eva Seoville, George Ronnenkamp Sr. and Smith sang several numbers. A very large crowd was in a Hess. Mr. and Mrs. David Cook of South Weber are the proud parents of a baby girl born at an Ogden hospital. Mrs. Cook is the former Zora Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W'. A. Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Teseh of Riverdale are the proud parents of a baby boy born last week at an Mrs. Mary Dawson, Mrs. Ruth Adams. Mrs. Mary Adams and Mrs. Ruth Baird attended the Clearfield Literary club Monday evening at the Cobble Cottage in Ogden. Mrs.B arbara Stucki gave the life of the famous pianoist Franz Leistz. Readings was given bv Mrs. Wanda Lund. Ben Whitesides arrived home Friday from a business trip to South Dakota. April 13th, 1879,, the daughter of Joseph and Jane Ship-leDunn. She was married June 1. 1898 to Mr. Adams in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Mrs. Adams is them other of seven children, they are Irvin W.
