Miss Johnson is a student of Manti High School where she is " ' ' ! a Seminary student and a top girls sport athlete. She is presently employed at Manti Pacific Trail Sportswear. She is the daughter of Gloria and the late Walter C. Johnson of Sterling. Mr. Childs is a 1976 graduate of Gunnison Valley High School. He is presently employed at Ensigns Knife Plant in Gunnison. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Childs of Gunnison. The nuptial couple are planning a spring wedding. three-yea- r Taking her place among the new brides of the month is the former Miss Mitzi Michelle Elliott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Elliott of 5420 S. 2300 W., Roy. The new bridegroom is Gale H. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Johnson, who make their home in Burley, Idaho. The couple exchanged vows on Thursday in the Manti LDS Temple. They received guests at a reception at the Roy LDS 4th Ward cultural hall the following evening. The brides gown of whipped cream crepe and cluny lace was styled with vertical rows of lace which was forming a enhanced with covered buttons, on the empire bodice. The bishop sleeves were accented w ith deep lace cuffs and ruffles. A deep hemline flounce and rows of lace complemented the skirt and sweep train. Matron of honor was Mrs. Vance Walker. Bridesmaids were the Misses Jamie Cross, Linda Glover, Patricia Elliott and Wendy Wegener. Serving as best man was Blaine Longfellow. Ushers were Jed Taylor, Dee Lamph and Bill Elliott.
