Show December 4, 2003 THE MAGNA T1MESW LST ALLEY NEW S 7 Holiday season events fill Temple Square With its festive lighting d and displays, the Christmas season on Temple Square will be a time for happiness, contemplation and a time for music. Choral and musical will groups performing include high school and collegiate student choruses, ensembles and madrigals from throughout Utah and Idaho; children choruses, community choral groups and other musical groups. Performances w ill be held Tuesdays through Sundays in the Assembly Hal and at the South Visitors Center from 9 p.m. at 5:00, 6:00, 7:00. and 8:00 p.m. Christ-oriente- On Mondays through Fridays there will.be performances at the Church Office Building lobby and the Joseph Smith Memorial at noon and Building, p.m. 1:00 p.m. Nutcracker Suite, No. , Op. 71. (Free tickets are required the includes singing, dancing, humor, drama, audience participation, and isual spectacle. (Complimentary tickets for this specific eent can be obtained at: Saturday, Dec. 6: The Orchestra and Chorus of Sandy City, with soprano Heidi Bioyer Slagle, tenor Kenneth L. Shelley, and bass Robert Brandt, will present Jesus, Once of Humble Birth by Cameron Rose; The Adoration of the Magi, from Three Botticelli Pictures by Respighi; and A Christmas Cantata by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
