BLODGETT EDITOR A Hunter High School senior has been named a Samsung- - American Legion Scholarship national finalist. V Holly Arnell, daughter of Lonny and Mary Louise Arnell, of West Valley City, was selected by the staff of the Girls State Program held recently in Cedar City. Holly will compete with other national finalists for one of 10 scholarships being offered - each valued at about $20,000. She was named a national finalist on the basis of academics, and school and community involvement. Holly is a high honor student a 4.0 grade-poiand average ranking No. 1 in her senior class of 703 and actively participates in community service projects. -- nt Women & She plans to attend BYU. Members of the Girls State Program selection committee said the selection process was difficult since it attracts some of the best qualified students in the state. Holly is a member of West Valley City's Youth City Council; is an officer in both the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Key Clubs; sings and plays the flute and piano.
