Claude and his wife Donna were married Dec. 2, 1936 in the They Logan LDS Temple. moved to Garfield in 1941 and then to Magna in 1955, where they have resided ever since. Claude is a graduate of North Cache High in Richmond. He retired from Kennecott Utah Corporation as a carpenter in 1974, and has served as a temple worker with his wife in the Jordan River and Salt Lake Temples for a combined 20 years. Claude served as a ward clerk for 17 years and in the bishopric for five years. He and Donna are members of the Lake Ridge 2nd Ward in Magna; Claude serves as High Priest Quorum leader. The Hawkins are parents of three daughters: Karen (Tom) Tooele; DeeAnn Edgelund, (George) Crosby, West Jordan; andywtired from'A'arian'KlIVisiow1' civicl heldl b great! Claude B.
