The exhibit, Kids on the Bloc: Soviet Childrens Art, features a variety of art forms created by 12- - to students from the Childrens School of Art. The exhibit is sponsored by the Utah Arts Council. Prices range from $1 to $20 per item. m Ken Ellers came to Magna about a year and a half ago to start a Subway franchise business here because he liked the small town atmophere and felt it would be a good place to manage a Subway sandwich shop. After getting the blessings of the councils and the county, and constructing building, Ken has finally opened his new store. It isnt the official grand opening, but it is the opening. The Subway outlet will offer Magna residents and workers another choice for lunch and dinner. The regular menu at 20 different S&efciions,Wd Ken wants to add a Magna special that includes Colosimos sausage. Ken manages the outlet with the help of his wife, JoAnn, and his sons, Kevin and Eric. This is the second Subway franchise that they have managed. The first was on 2100 South and State Street in Salt Lake City; Ken wanted to get out of the congestion and fast pace of that area, so he came to Magna. Ken is a former aerospace engineer and real estate agent. He also owned a motel and resort at Mammoth Lake, IS pre-gra- ews About i nd rS about the friendly atmosphere of Magna has already paid off for Ken because a number of his neighbors have already gone out of their way to help him and to welcome him to Magna. He plans a grand opening after he has a short training period for his new employees. Ken feels that his coming into the area can only spark more businesses to think about Magna. The 161st Annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ Saints will be conducted of Latter-da- y and Saturday Sunday, April 6 and 7, 1991 in the Tabernacle on Temple Square.
