A survey completed by Job Service shows that sixty-thre- e percent of the workers have expressed an interest in one or more training local Job Training Partnership Act and social services agencies. I suggest that you give careful consideration to recommending the appropriation of as much as one million dollars from the accrued state percent sort through the competing and legitimate demands on the surplus. But I can think of no better use for the funds than to help these workers who : programs; forty-tw- o employment counseling and testing; and seventy-thre- e percent in job development and placement. State and local resources combined will only meet a small part of this demand. It is clear that additional resources will be needed to augment those of Job Service and state and budget surplus for this purpose. It will undoubtedly be a tough job to have helped their community through the sweat of their brow for so many years. Sincerely, Wayne Owens You Can Buy This Baby A Lifetime! It explains how belts work to save lives and how child safety seats should be used.
