A good time was had by all. The Magna Lions Club held their first board meeting last week to kick off the new season. It was very nice to see Ted Lambert back on his feet and out to meetings again after his siege in the hospital. President Doc Blanchard was in charge with Joe Ribotto, Secretary, Ted Lambert, Treasurer, and Ray Merrill, Lyle Hendrickson, Mike Falvo, Frank Arreola, Verdell Dyches, A1 Carman and myself in attendance. Announcement was made that the Gloucoma Van will be in Magna October 5 at the Senior Citizens Center and October 6th at Arbor Park Shopping Center. A1 Carman is Chairman for the Lions Club assisted by Lyle v Hendrickson and Joe )H 1 Ribotto. Further announcements will be forth coming. It was also announced that the speaker for the September 20 meeting will be Wallace Jensen, General Manager of Utah Copper Division, of KCC, so we would like a good attendance for that meeting.
