MAGNA--The Magna Branch of the Salt Lake County Library is having very good attendance with their Tuesday summer afternoon Story Hour program that runs from Between 100 and 140 children, from the age of two on up, are attending 2:00-3:0- p.m. 0 every weeks session. This is the third summer that the Story Hour has been held. However, in the past two years only an average of 0 "hildren have attended. Here the children were able to finger play, sing along and act out stories told by the story teller. This summer, Robin Benmon is the story teller and song singer in residence. The three professionals, sent out by the Salt Lake County Library, alternate, one performing for the children each week. The future dates for the Story Hour programs are: II July, Richards Puppeteers; 18th July Elaine Daniel ve Dramatics; and 25 July, Robin Bennion-stories and songs. The program started June 14 and will continue until Aug. 8. Two weeks ago, 27 June, Elaine Daniels presented the drama, Daddy Wants a Birthday, and the Children acted it out using tin puppets. On the 20th of Jun the child ren did finger plays and songs with Miss Bennion. And the week before, June 13, Richards Puppeteers presented the Three Wishes using life size puppets.
