Show Thursday, February 5, 1970 MAGNA TIMES, Magna, Utah Brodibnnk 7th Grade Presents Assembly Young Couple Wed in Temple ocietu fjoted Miss LeSieur Plans Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blackman, Denver, Colo., announce the Jan. 26 marriage of their daughter, Donna, to Roderick D. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E. Anderson of West Covina, Calif. The young couple exchanged nuptial vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roderick of Hunter. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson and other sons, Richard and Patrick of West Covina, and a daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Gronberg of El Monte, Calif., Mr. and Mrs., Blackman and children, Vickie and Craig, traveled to Utah for the wedding. Richard attended the temple for the first time and also witnessed the marriage. Following the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Roderick and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maples entertained at a dinner at the Roderick home for 19 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Maples, of the sister and brother-in-laAndersons, and Mr. and Mrs. Blackman and their children were guests at the Roderick w home. The newlyweds attend the Brigham Young University in Provo. Parmley, president of the hospital board of trustees. And, workers in the Magna and Hunter area are going from door to door, asking for donations to this worthy cause. Primary Childrens Hospital In Salt Lake City serves children throughout the world. During 1969, we admitted 7,975 patients, and in addition, we had 26,666 visits by young- Ready... willing and four daughters. Day will be observed by the Webster School PTA on Tuesday, Feb. 10 beginning at 7 :30 p.m. in the e school room. A very entertaining program is to be presented and post officials honored. On the following Tuesday, Feb. 17th, a chicken dinner is planned for the benefit of the exceptional child and scholarship. This, too, will be held in the school multi-purporoom, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $1.50, adults and $1.00, children. Two children under five years of age will be served for $1.00. Veater began teaching duties as a sixth grade teacher at the Magna Elementary School on Jan. 26, at the beginning of the second term of the school year. Miss Veater graduated from the University of Utah, where she majored in elementary education. Her home is in Sandy. Miss Veater replaces Mrs. Dawn McLaughlin, who resigned to join her husband in Pocatello, Idaho, where he had been transferred. Sherri Lu-an- ne Robyn week.
