Show MAGNA TIMES, MAGNA, UTAH Thursday, July 22, 1965 Hunter Notes of Interest Mr. and Mrs. George Owen and accompanied by Mrs. Daisy Owen, mother of Mr. Owen, have returned from a trip to Yellowstone National Park where they participated in an Owen family reunion. Kirby and daughter, Janine, and Mrs. Theresa Brown and children, Charles and Shauna, have returned home from a k vacation to Rosemead, Calif., where they visited relatives. They spent a day at Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Marineland and Long Beach, as well as the Los Angeles State and County Arboretum where all types of plants are grown. Ten students of Course 13 enjoyed golfing, then a return trip to the Morris residence for pizza. Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laughlin and children enjoyed a trip to Lehman Caves in Nevada last week. They traveled by way of Tooele and returned through Beaver, being gone two days. The Mia Maid classes of the Hunter Third Ward left Saturday to tour the BYU campus, accompanied by their leaders, Mrs. Jay R. Madsen and Mrs. Duard Nay, Mrs. Don Cartwright and Mr. Jay Madsen assisted in the driving. A niece of Mrs. Cartwright, Ellen Marie Roundy of Boise, Idaho, was a special guest. Peterson family descendants enjoyed a program, swimming, games of horseshoe and and baseball during the afternoon. Each family took its lunch and all joined together at lunchtime.
