This is a conclusion drawn by Dr. Caroline Bedell Thomas and associates at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore. Md. The scientists are doing a e study of the factors that forewarn of these conditions. The goal of the study is to identify ahead of time people who might be prone to hypertension and perhaps even heart attacks, and to prevent the killers from attacking. Dr. Thomas made the following observations, based on 18 years of study of more than 1,300 medical students: When one or both parents have or have had high blood pressure or coronary disease, there is a greater chance that their children will be predisposed to these conditions. The sons of fathers who had these conditions seem more prone to fall victim to them than if the mother alone had either ailment. d conflicts between parents and children over a long period may affect the circulatory system and the heart. Children experiencing such conflicts may become' adults who develop hypertension and heart disease. long-rang- ALL THESE ITEMS Are being offered as Director of Operations' Safely Awards at Bacchus. Be sure also to add fuel ibefore starting the engine, never while it is running. Always stand away from the blades when starting the engine. Children, pets, and other onlookers make an appreciative audience most of the time but not when youre mowing the lawn. Thats the time to keep them all out of harms way. Never cut grass by pulling ithe mower toward you, and stop the engine before pushing the mower across gravel drives, walks or roads. Remember, too, that a heavy mower speeding up a steep slope can turn over. And, when walking on slopes or wet grass, be sure of your footing. And if you mow the lawn in bare feet you face a serious and painful accident. Loose clothing is to Complete Dinner FISHING MOTOR Arctic Circle FOR SALE 8339 West 3500 The newest type of out4 board.
