Clay, state 7:x - 7 XX-.x- t a direc-to- of Selective Service, announced today that beginning Selective July 1, 1964, Service registrants classified in Class will be ordered for armed forces examination as soon as possible. The first group will be examined at the Armed Forces Examining Station at Ft Douglas during the month of July, 1964. CoL Clay Emphasized this ex amination is solely for the purpose of determining whether such young men are qualified for military service and will in no way subject them to early induction into the armed forces. At the present time, Col Clay said, Se lective Service registrants in Utah are being inducted at approximately age 21 or older. The examination of registrants is part of President Johnsons War on Poverty PARTICIPATING IN Of motor that completed A2 Polaris work' at Bacchus, ars J. E. Midgarden, H. G. Nowak, L. H. Employes at Bacchus completed their work on the Polaris A2 program under terms of a Cost Plus - Incentive - Fee type contract. Provisions of the agreement called for Hercules to meet rigid motor delivery schedules, produce the highest quality product and at reduced production costs. Contract provisions tied the companys fee directly to its performance in these areas. Anything less than maximum success in meeting these objectives would have resulted in a financial penalty to the company. How successfully Hercules completed the work and met contract demands is evidenced by efforts which resulted in saving the Navy more than $2 million on A2 production contracts. Motor delivery and quality control requirements were met in similar fashion. m:rn youth gives BUY-OF- F lie Yen Ddryntpla Predated in task FORMER MAGNA MAID NAMED FOR HIGH I REPORT ON EUROPEAN PSYCHIATRIC HONOR AT B1ACKF00T, IDAHO Le Von Dalrymple, for five years with Seaboard Finance Co.
