a Training Assistant She was an active member of the North Ogden 1st Ward and has held many church positions throughout her life She was a leader In the MIA youth group and achieved the Golden Glea-mAward She loved music and was the Relief Society Chorister for many years as well as the Ward Music Chairperson She traveled with her husband Clair during his military service in California and Washington They lived in San Mateo California before returning to North Ogden where she and Clair have enjoyed living tor 36 years She was a member of DUP acting as camp Captain of the Myrtle Rent Sau-hcamp She was a member of the North Ogden Civic League and supported its functions and benefits She was a member of La Dianaeda Sorority at Weber State College and valued those friendships at the bookkeeper for Frank Edwards Co and Elizabeth Hurst Flower Shop and made menus for Alexander's Cafe In 1933 he went to work for the RM Hoggan Co where he became manager and stayed until that business was acquired by Block's After a few years with Blocks he went to work for a short time as a product consultant for Browning Arms Co An avid outdoors- man Russ enjoyed this work immensely He eventually left Browning to work as a manufacturer's representative for J Schoenemann covering the States Following his retirement from Schoenemann he joined his wife Dean in the real estate business for Webber Realty and then Caldwell Banker where they worked together in until 1995 He served as President and State Director of Ogden Jaycee's President and District Governor of Ogden Exchange Club and director of the Ogden Coif & Country Club Russ was a veteran of Worid War II having served In Germany and Austria during the occupation Heidi Surviving are his four children: Trehame Bedford Texas John (Linda)
