man an james jamea E fullmer john H vincent and herman E campbell were to in attendance and fifty four one bavine assembled our opened at 11 II 11 am in the school house A N wallace presiding the open ing hymn were not ashamed to own our L lord ird 19 1 9 was sung and elder mcarthur MoA offered the opening prayer come bilye all ye sons none of zion and let us ue praise the lurd binl aly was waa rendered when presiding pre alding elder eider wallace announced to the assembly the object of the latter day saints elders 9 mission in the world he pointed out the essentiality of every individual knowing lor for himself whether or not he is in the proper ob channel aDnel the only road to eternal happiness and invited all to I 1 investigate aves the principles of divine truth as they were taught by our savior and his fais apostles ancle aly impressing the people that bat our mission mllton to the world is to present the same truths which will save those who accept it elder ephraim jeppson was tue next speaker he spoke at some length upon the message borne by the apos apon tieso lei of fold old to the people in that day and cited all present to the fact that the apostles and singing our oar mountain home so near 11 elder eider wallace spoke upon the th history of the israelites and the identity of the jews being the he most perfect of all races the gathering of israel to be soon consummated zion to be established and jerusalem to be rebuilt were also briefly touched upon also regarding the gathering of the saints to lo jackson county mo and there erecting temples to weather conference would now adjourn he thanked our esteemed teemed eg friends for the kindness and hospitality shown the elders during our ministerial labore labor in their midst we sang hall hail to secretary campbell gave a good report of the sunday and day schools of the taw and chickasaw nation also alao a report to elder wallace from superintendent levi J holt of marshall machal the report to la remarkably good the sunday school has an enrollment of 21 with an average attendance of 18 david holt ha bas charge of the book of mormon class clasp while slater sister CAM camilla thayer at home ome attending a methodist meeting where the pastor was making his proposition to preach tor for them at the sum of one hundred dollars per J mouth month while others othen followed the salvation army
