columns the committee re ported that they had authorized jaya iton demen to finish the bryant schol building according to the plane and ancl attached to the communication muni cation wei were e two other com commini muni batione one from william pinney stating that mr jay had bad violated lite hia contract and suggesting that the contract should be annulled and the premises taken in aher charge shall not dot be construed to waive any claim against the contractor contract oc i it was ordered that the city C council OU n be asked to place electric lights at the following potato one at the intersection of eighth east and eighth south streets when the ham ilton school building has been erected one at second sauth and seventh west st streets when the franklin school building is about school building was added inspection PEES FEES the clerk was notified to petition the council requesting that it be relieved from all fees charged 1 by v the building inspector for building permits and recommending that they be placed on all new school houses committee on sites tes and buildings on this question was a communication from chief stanton of the fire department stating that he had made a tour of inspection of the school buildings aud and thought that the following buildings should be provided with fire escapes fourteenth ward district school eleventh ward district school lincoln franklin lowell nineteenth district school and first word ward district school chool the entire in matter was referred to the committee on sites and buildings 46 BIDS FOR FOB the committee an on idt sites and build ings inge reported that no provision for heating the wasatch cb school building had been made aud asked that the committee on sites and buildings be authorized to advertise for bids for heating the same the report was amended by giving the committee on sites and buildings authority to advertise tise for bids bide for heating said building by steam direct or indirect hot air
