Show SONUS OE $1 PER TON FOR 9 SUGAR BEETS RAISED DURING 1919 M '& Bfl There appears to l)o a misunderstanding about jbYbiJ the $1.00 per ton bonus to bo paid by tho Utah-Idaho 1H Sugar Company for beets. Two of tho Salt Lako pa- - 'H pors stated tho bonus would be paid for tho 1919 crop, H and the other two dailies gave the information that j H the bonus would be paid for this year's crop. VH During a talk over tho phono Wednesday with ;H Mr. Nibjcy, ho stated that the bonus to be paid ijH would be for tho 1919 crop, and that every farmer H would receive an extra dollar per ton for all sugar H boots raised during 1919. Notice of this raise, with jH checks, will bo sent within the next week Or ten days. vjH This certainly will be" good news, as well as a substantial help to our bed raisers, whoso crops Wen 'S damaged by the drought last year, and shows from ;fl our viewpoint, that the Utah-Idaho Sugar people arc fM doing tho right thing to tho farmers for 1919. Lotus 'jfl hope that the boot raisers and the Company reach an ' 'al agreeable understanding for tho 1920 crop. 'b |
