She said many times, people confuse culture with religion, and starting the Muslim Student Association has allowed her to see that the Islamic faith is flexible for every culture and individual. Chelsea Kimpton, a senior history major from Las Vegas and a member of the club, said she joined because she is a Muslim convert. Kimpton said the club struck her passion in teaching people about other cultures and has her become more helped involved in the school and community.
