It is located up Beaver Canyon near Beaver. It is scheduled to open Dec. 14 or earlier, weather permitting. Beaver is approximately an hour north of Cedar City on Interstate 15. The website shows the number of lifts that are open, and visitors can sign up for text messages about new snowfall. Hardin admitted she might ditch class and go skiing after a good snow storm hits. I hope my parents dont find out, she said. Hardin said she tries to get all her homework done during the week so that she can spend the weekends at Brian Head. She said she tries to go skiing at least three to four times a week. SUDOKU outdoors with friends Hardin also said skiing has helped her in life. She said she skis at the terrain park and has learned that if a person works hard enough at something they can achieve it. Everybody should try it. It is a very cool experience that you cant compare to other sports its the best thing ever, she said. Smith also encouraged people to go take advantage of the slopes. I know you have excuses not to go, but just go, you wont regret it, he said. Smith said he tries to go as often as possible and last season he usually went for a half day after classes or occasionally ditched class.
