Minersville Highway 7211 KL MADIN 5-4- 2 BY NATALIE SPARKS The SUSC Alumni Association is preparing an alumni directory will be available January 1, 1991. The new directory, $19.95, will include information about SUSC alumni beginning with the founding year of the college, 1897, to the present. There will just be a specified amount available in January, so its important to order now. Everyone is welcome to have one, said Peg Thorley, alumni relations director. The directory will list alumni alphabetically by graduation year and geographical location. Married alumni will be that will be available Jan. 1, 1991. The new directory, $19.95, included, said Thorley. A lot of alumni dont know that their best friends are living in the same area. We hope to establish an alumni chapter in different areas of the country. This will be a way to find the alumni and update records. Well be having programs and activities to bring them back on campus, said Thorley. Currently Alumni President Carol Ann Jones has been working to send questionnaires to alumnus so that alumni records can be updated. Jones requests that graduating seniors complete and return questionnaires by May 1. For more information contact Alumni Relations in Administration 303C or call that cross-referenc- 586-777- Moms and daughters weekend slated for May rLube, Oil & Filter IWith Four Tire Rotations BY SHARON HOLMES ASSUSC is sponsoring its fifth annual Mother-DaughtWeekend May 4 and 5. This years theme is Find Your Niche In The 90s. Committee chair Kim Mellor said the conference provides a time for mothers to get away and spend some time with their daughters. To accomodate working mothers and or daughters, two registration times have been scheduled. The first registration session will be Friday May 4 from 3 to 4 p.m. in Centrum 227; a welcome assembly follows at 4 p.m. The second registration, also in Centrum 227, is Saturday May 5 from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Saturday three workshops are scheduled for students and their mothers. Creating a clipboard message center will be the focus of a craft workshop taught by Kay Shakespeare. In a second workshop, Karen Wright will teach participants how to make unit clothing. The final workshop deals with compatability. Janice Hatch will teach the women how to get along better with family members and spouses. Workshop times are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. To cap off the weekend, a banquet and a 90s Fashion Show, is set from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the backyard of the Presidents home.
