LYNN DENNETT Cedar City offers a variety of dining experiences to satisfy even the most finicky of palates. Cedars restaurants are conveniendy placed about town and range from a relaxed atmosphere and soothing music to type places. The following restaurants offer patrons a variety of menu items for the entire family. They feature nice, quiet fast-pace- d, go atmospheres, with courteous help, adding up to a pleasant dining experience. The Holiday Inn at 1575 West 200 North is the home for the Bristlecone Restaurant. It features superb luncheons with house specialty sandwiches, and dinner specials every night. The La Tajada Room, located upstairs from Sullivans Cafe at 86 South Main Street, specializes in steaks, shrimp and has a nice salad bar. The La Tajada Room has a liquor license. Sullivans Cafe, located on the main floor, is a relaxed family restaurant for any family members needs. The Market Grill, at 2290 West 400 North, serves the best steaks in town, according to many patrons. It serves specialty beef meals, like ribs, and has a superb breakfast. Set in Cedar Canyon, surrounded by trees and mountain scenery, Milts Stage Stop has a reputation for its prime rib and seafood dishes. Milts is about five miles up the canyon. Recently opened in Cedar City is Ribs n Things, which specializes in barbecued items, including chicken and fish. Its located at 365 South Main. Opening around the 12 th of July is the Black Swan, featuring gourmet food in the Old English tradition. Located at 164 South 100 West, the restaurant will feature homemade English dishes and for dinner will serve an elegant seven-cours- e meal. They ask that you call for reservations at The Golden Corral features a fine salad bar to accompany the various menu items they serve. It is located at 755 South Main. The Sizzler is located near the Town and Country Best Western at 199 North Main. They also have a large salad bar that features soup and all the salad fixins you could want. The Sugar Loaf is a nice relaxed diner located at 281 South Main. It features great food and a casual atmosphere for the family to enjoy. 586-767- 3. relaxed dining experience. Pancho and Leftys features authentic Mexican background music, and great food. They also have a bar and serve great drinks, with or without alcohol. For an Oriental dining experience, the Kowloon, 50 W. Center, offers food and decor authentic to Chinese atmosphere. The China Garden also features authentic Chinese cuisine, and feature American dishes as well. They are located at 170 North Main Street. For those who want to Cedar also has many fine fast food restaurants that serve traditonal fast food meals and offer their own unique menu items as well. At 1225 West 200 North, Wendys Old Fashioned Hamburgers are served hot, and juicy fresh from the grill. Continuing up Hamburger Row, fare Burger King offers its flame-broile- d advertised on national TV. They are located at 1215 West 200 North. McDonalds, at 1026 West 200 North, is home of your favorite sandwiches like the Big Mac. Next to McDonalds is the Kountry Kitchen with great home cooking, just i like Moms. A little farther up Hamburger Row, Arbys, which serves only to fight burger burnout. They are located at 927 West 200 North. Next to the city park is Brads. They have the best french fries in town, according to many patrons. They also serve homemade fish n chips. Brads is located at 304 North Main. Located at 650 South Main is the Top Spot, that features good home style cooking and daily lunch specials Subway Sandwiches, at 66 7 S. Main and across the street from Top Spot, serves a variety of hoagie-styleis d sandwiches. For those who want food in a hurry, try Gordos Neeto Burritos, at 940 North Main. They specialize in burritos, and have an incredible deluxe you must try. At the other end of town, Taco Time offers a variety of Mexican treats with combination plates, or just single items. They are located at 830 South Main. Pizza Hut, at 579 South Main, features great pizzas, and delivery after 5 p.m. Pizza Factory offers custom made pizzas at 124 South Main. The Pizza Express also serves many types of pizza, and is at 166 N. Main. The Dairy FreezeChina Moon offers Chinese and American food items. The Dairy Freeze is at 501 South Main. If chicken is more your bag, try Kentucky Fried Chicken at 198 North Main.
