Show THE THUNDERBIRD Dedication to honor SUSC Student Center Dedicatory services for the new SUSC Student Center are planned for June 3, the day before the college's 91st commencement ceremony. Activities include a reception for past and present ASSUSC officers who were instrumental in planning the 35,000 square-fobuilding from its inception to final layout and selection of furnishings and color scheme. Food services and a 7,700 square foot bookstore take up a major portion of the building. Also included is an expanded post office, spacious game and television rooms and a Country Store or snack bar. SUSC's old cafeteria has been replaced by the Thunderbird Circle Dining Room with a light, airy atmosphere and a circular food service area marked by neon signs. The dining room concept is unique in that it services both meal card and walk-i- n traffic and has been designed, like the rest of the building, to avoid an institutional look.
