Featured musicians are: Jana Bunnell, violinist, playing Rondo in D major by Mozart; Louise Beauregard, violinist, playing a concerto in E major by Bach; Leah Brown, cellist, Adagio by Baccherini; Brent Staplev, pianist, concerto in E major by Chopin; Suzanne Correy, violinist, concerto in A minor bv Bach; and community member Tom Robinson, flutist, playing Rondo by Mozart. Julia Quick is the faculty adviser in charge of all such orchestra events and recitals on campus. In preparing for these events the students work on such things as intonation (pitch), phrasing, balance, and technique. Todd Gibson stars as Norm Prescott in Present Tense, directed by Gary K. Owen as part of the Works in Progress program of SUSCs theatre department. Three productions were met with good attendance and approval Friday and Saturday. Opus IV to perform tonight Journey.
