Coming up NAU Band to play The Northern Arizona University marching band will perform Friday at Thunderbird Stadium. SUSC Director of Bands Bruce Walker indicates that the band is scheduled to perform at a Weber State College football game Saturday and that they will present their half-tim-e show at SUSC. The program start at 9 a.m. is free and will ACT deadline set The registration deadline for the next American College Test Assessment (ACT) is Nov. 15. The actual test will be administered at Southern Utah State College Dec. 14. Student achievement levels in English, natural science, sciencehistory and mathematics are measured in terms of local and national percentiles as a result of the three hour and examination. 15 minute An interest inventory is included with the ACT. Students take the hour-lon- g assessment when they register to take the test. Gary Dunford, director of. counseling and testing at SUSC, indicates that the inventory helps the student decide upon a career choice. The inventory is also used, he said, by the college in the development of student profiles. ACT forms can be obtained at the SUSC Counseling Center, Administration Building 102, or from high school counselors. Information about the test and about the many additional counseling services available SUSC at can be obtained by calling 586-542- Reformation Rally set A Reformation Rally will be held Sunday, November 10 at Thorley Recital Hall on the SUSC campus. The rally will be a Christian worship service of celebration and praise of over 450 years of Protestantism. The service will start at 4 p.m. and all are welcome. |
