Coming up Paris trip scheduled SUSC will offer a study abroad program in Paris June The program will include 16 days in France and another five days in Great Britain. Participants will earn eight credits in French 292492. The tour is being jointly sponsored by the SUSC Division of Continuing Education and the language department. Participants must be at least 18 years old. A French background would be helpful, but it is not necessary. The cost of the y excursion is $1,499 which includes air fare from Las Vegas, transportation throughout the tour, lodging for 20 nights, breakfast and dinner for 21 days, entrance fees, and tuition and fees for .the French language credit. Business workshops set Four workshops designed to help the owners of small businesses improve advertising, inventory control, sales data and business management are being sponsored this quarter by SUSC. by the Small Business Administration, the first workshop will be held Tuesday in St. George, the remaining three will be at SUSC in the Business Building, room 103. Anyone interested in attending the workshops may call the SUSC Utah Business Development Center at 5 for information or registration. Facilities will be provided for the handicapped. 586-540- Tax form aid available Help with income tax forms will be provided Jan. 25 to April 1 1 through the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. VITA is designed to provide free tax assistance at community locations to individuals who cannot afford professional tax help. Volunteers assist people with simple tax returns, particularly low income, h elderly, speaking and handicapped taxpayers. The program will be held in Business 103 on Tuesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 to 10 p.m. non-Englis- |
