Bobby V. Walker, director, said the study beginning May 1 will scrutinize existing facilities, air space requirements, airport capacities and social and economic aspects of aviation in Utah. We will also attempt to make some forecast as to the growth of aviation in the state in 1975, 1980 and 1990. We are also going to check on land use and zoning as it applies to in the airport expansion study, he said. Plans are also being made to hire an airport planning engineer for this division on a e basis. He can then work up necessary data for the study, which is expected to take 10 months to complete, Mr. Walker said.
