Show MaSSIO HABY NARY LETTERI have now spent nearly one year away from ray my home borne in dear old brigham city 1 I have ha seen a good many sights and many different cities and towns some large and some small sometimes I 1 fancy I 1 can hear some one say where Is the nicest place you have seen just take a walk to some point of the mountain in tile the spring of the year when the grass Is green and the trees form one perfect flower garden and look over the entire valley what do you see there in the far distance you see the lake then turning you ou gaze a little to the north on those lovely farms sonic some are surrounded by trees and some are arc not hut but all of them have spots of green alfalfa fil in these with the little it tl towns scattered all through the valley form a striking picture now look up the mountains and you will see the he tops covered with snow and then look at the city just at your feet and ask where is the nicest place you have it right at home I 1 wish to god that every boy and girl could come out here and see what so many have seen then perhaps they would think more of home there are some places here that you rou could put together and form a pretty place but not like dear old brigham the people there are the most blessed people on earth god smiles miles on oil them every day they want for or nothing it they only knew it now nov there are some pretty places here le rebut but over them hangs a heavy atmosphere mo sphere that makes a person feel so drowsy that nature seems to drown in itself the sun does not shine so clear and warm as it does at home therefore hereford he one may feel as though god lad had left leftie lef tit it but the lord is ever willing to pour out ills his spirit on those who aho seek it your brother in ina a far off country JOSEPH F HANSEN voile velle denmark dec 9 1307 1907 |
