Show The Salt Lake Tribune, Sunday, April 15, 1962 Week Marks Comedy Near Symphonic Choir Event At Playbox; Salt Lake The Symphonic Choir, under the direction of Armont Willard-een- , will perform lta 13th annual Spring 'Concert Saturday at 8:15 p.m. in the Highland High, School Auditorium. The first half of the concert will be devoted to religious music by such masters as Bach, Gretchaninoff, Palestrina and Dette. Numbers to be heard will include Praise to the Our Father. Lord," "Listen to the Lambs" and Soon-AWill Be Done, a Negro spiritual. Secular music will dominate the second half of the Spring Concert with such favorites being sung as When Johnny Comes Aura Marching Home," "Breathes There a Lee, Man by Lorin Wheelwright, a Salt Lake composer, and selections from the famous Broadway musical, "My Fair Lady." Originated in 1949, the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir is the largest Independent traveling choir in America and has presented over 350 concerts. The choir performs innumerable concerts each year for television, civic and professional organizations, religious congregations and lyceum programs in high schools, colleges and universities throughout the western United States. h -- f The Devils Rainbow, by J.
