I quote from the respected OB. Gyn. Hellegers, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University and one who stands tall among his colleagues, has been associated with one of these groups involved in proposing experimental research on aborted live fetuses and has opposed such actions vigorously. Olson, Jr., M.D. Bountiful Farmers, consumers get raw deal - To the editor- - I am sorry if some persons think I or any others are destroying mankind. I have never in my life hurt anyone and I dont intend to start now, but as an unhappy housewife and consumer I still have the precious freedom of speech and thought, and the sudden drastic increase of meat costs in such a short time was more than I could swallow, and a lot of others feel the same way. Speeding uses lots more gas There are every story. to my campaign I have never said a thing about the farmer. We need the farmers. It's the farmers and the consumer who are getting the raw' end of the deal. I can pick up the paper any day and read the stock market and see what beef is selling for on the hoof, two sides All through but when it reaches the consumer, its three or four times more. I think this is ridiculous. . Where does the farmer think that the city folks have such an easy life? Seme of our husbands have had to work at two jobs a day, 16 hours and 7 days a week. Yes, the sabbath day included, to make ends meet in our hectic city life. I found out some of the runuiers dont even plant a garden: they dont take the time. Well we do and my husband had to go out of town to work and I took care of this garden myself which was eight miles away and watered Now possible to kill?
